DON'T COMPLICATE

Keep it simple
is the mantra
for a peaceful life.
But is it that simple
to keep it simple?
The wandering wants and the titillating thoughts
cross the boundaries of reason
trying to wash you away into the vast sea of complications.
But why complicate?Tell that to the illogical heart
who knows what it would mean to fall into the abyss.
Never to be found again.Yet it falters.
And towards the untrodden waters it ventures.
Keep it simple, life is too short
to untangle the knot.
Once you are lost in the maze
and your heart strays
there is no deliverance.
You sink into the bottomless sea.
Never to be free.
Tied in shackles of complications
unfulfilled wants and impossible relations
Simple life, simple wants, simple desires.
Life is peaceful when simple and straight
So keep it simple, don't complicate.

BEING HUMAN

A child grows into a man or a woman but who is human?
If you can wipe off a tear from a face
If you can bring back the smile with grace
If you can tend a broken heart
You are human

When you share your super with a hungry soul
When spreading happiness all around is your goal
When for a tired traveler you open your door
You are human

Being human is not being a man or a woman
It is feeling the pain that’s not your own
It is feeling the love for all Gods Children
Its serving the purpose of being born
Be human.

FROZEN MOMENTS

I reach out for the stars
Gather some in my in arms
Some fall into my eyes.
The moments flow like a shimmering river
It whizzes past, but stays still in time
Like a memory frozen in the mind.

These moments , stolen from destiny
These are just for you and me
Its when we grow the wings
And in the open blue sky, we fly
No borders, no boundaries, no bindings
Free to be lost in each other.

But moments are only moments,
Fleeting, they don't last a lifetime.
They are flickering like a fading lamp
And before we blink, its gone
To each our world, we return
The moments as memories, frozen in our minds.
